The brief was to create a new retail format that blended the best attributes of farmers markets alongside the efficiencies of a premium convenience store. The target audience is middle to high income families and individuals in ABC1 demographic area’s across London and the UK. The store’s identity should feel familiar to customers and resolutely English. The size of the scheme can vary between 5,000 sq ft – 10,000 sq ft of retail space and include up to 15 different retail zones such as grocery and cheese mongers.
